What an incredible collection of Awards Search The Way participant Nathan Page was presented with this past week!
This included no less than all four Levels of the On Track Leadership Award, and both the Silver and a copy of his Gold Duke of Edinburgh's International Award!
In recognition of Nathan's amazing achievements, and his great example of total dedication and application over a number of years of challenging and improving oneself, whilst helping others along the way, Nathan has also been awarded the Morgan Durrant Memorial Award, which is presented to the Most Outstanding Participant on the On Track Programme.
Nathan has spent so many hours over a number of years improving his practical Skill and theoretical knowledge of driving; gaining Physical Recreation fitness via of programme of activities such as walking, biking, swimming and hunting; giving amazing voluntary Community Service in areas such as recycling and waste management, conservation projects and helping others with their lawns, and completing some incredible Adventurous Journeys that has seen Nathan accomplish challenges that have shown him his true potential, such as camping, tramping, a Spirit of Adventure voyage and completing an Outward Bound experience.
We are very proud of Nathan and send a big congratulations for how much he has achieved. He has certainly grown in to a fine man who is an asset to his community. We also would like to acknowledge the amazing support given to Nathan throughout his time on our programme from his family, friends and local community organisations and their wonderful staff - including but not limited to Debbie Coleman, Buller High School, PACT, and the Buller Kawatiri Area Office of the Department of Conservation. Nice one Nathan!
